Hello from Jr. Worlds in Bulgaria!! After a long plane ride, I’ve finally arrived in the countries’ capitol, Sofia. It has been a great time already getting to know the all of the Jr. World team members, I look forward to cheering them on! I compete on Friday and Saturday.
After the long program I placed 2nd. I scored a seasons and personal best score of 112.69, I placed 2nd overall with a combined score of 175.07. I’m very happy with the way I skated and performed. I would like to thank everyone who has showed me their support and the people who have helped me overcome my recent injury, without your help I probably wouldn’t have been able to skate at nationals.
I very happy to have arrived here in Boston, what a beautiful city! I’m also proud to be here with some of the best skaters in the country and some I skate with everyday, my training mates Amy Lin, Elizabeth Nguyen, and Karen Chen.
I skate my short program Wednesday, Jan. 8th and my long program Friday, Jan. 10th.
After a rough short program which put me in 10th, I skated my long and placed 3rd with a score of 97.07. I placed 6th overall with a score of 143.91. What an amazing experience it has been. I skated my long program on my birthday! 🙂 I couldn’t have had a better birthday thanks to team USA!!
